I’ve recently (Dec 2025) completed a PhD in Metascience at Cardiff University. Its focus was on the Registered Reports (RRs) academic publishing format, where I designed, built, and evaluated tools to encourage RRs adoption by researchers and academic journals.
Previously to this I’ve worked on projects relating to clinical trials, specifically aiming to increase transparency (AllTrials) and better knowledge management (OpenTrials).
More broadly I am passionate about projects relating to social change, including metascience, science, medicine, technology, open knowledge, and human rights.
I have a background in psychology (research) and IT (technical/website development).
